Babasaheb Naik College of Engineering, Pusad established on the “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam - Innovation and Incubation Centre” on 18 -12 -2018 by merging the existing Research and Development cell and Entrepreneurship Development Cell, to provide a single platform for existing ecosystem for nurturing, encouraging and developing innovation and entrepreneurial skills among its students, research scholars and alumni, as well as new age entrepreneurs of the region.
The center seeks to build an innovation network with multiple stakeholders like Industry, HEIs, R&D labs and others

To provide suitable physical infrastructure and expertise in mentoring legal, technical, financial, intellectual property related services for new age entrepreneurs and young minds for their start-ups and give them a chance to bring their business in shape, before they reach out to the world.
Salient features
The center will encourage the local potential entrepreneurs and it is open for all.
The center will provide infrastructure requirement for space, PCs , laboratory usage and etc.
The center will provide the R & D efforts and other technological inputs required.
The center will provide mentoring and other professional services
If required, the center will outsource the expertise services for better outcome.
The IPR are with innovators only and the center will act as a facilitator.
