Welcome to the Department of Computer Science & Engineering.

It gives me immense pleasure to lead the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at our esteemed institution. The department offers B.E. (CSE),M.E. (CSE),PhD (CSE)programs under the affiliation of SantGadge Baba Amravati University (SGBAU), Amravati.

Our college is one of the premier institutions in the region, uniquely positioned like a prism—reflecting a rich spectrum of academic excellence, co-curricular engagement, and innovation. Our department is equipped with tools like the IBM Rational Suite, designed to align our students with current industry standards and expectations.

We are proud of our highly qualified and experienced faculty, who are passionate about delivering innovative, high-quality education and guiding students toward academic and professional excellence.

Over the course of our 40-year journey, our alumni have made their mark across the globe. Many of our students have secured placements in top MNCs and leading tech companies, often through on-campus drives, internships, and industry collaborations. Several students have also excelled in competitive examinations and pursued higher education at reputed institutions. These success stories are a reflection of our department’s strong academic foundation and industry-oriented training.

To strengthen our industry connect, the department has signed MoUs with various companies, including those led by our distinguished alumni. These partnerships provide students with internship opportunities, industrial training, and career guidance. Additionally, our alumni have been actively involved as mentors, helping final-year students work on live projects, thereby giving them first-hand experience of real-world challenges and solutions.

In addition to our core curriculum, the department places a strong emphasis on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Cybersecurity, Data Science, and Cloud Computing. Specialized workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions in these domains are regularly organized to equip students with the latest technical skills and make them future-ready.

Beyond academics, we foster all-round development through various technical training programs, seminars, student clubs, and national-level conferences. These initiatives not only build technical depth but also enhance communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Our Master of Engineering (M.E.) program in Computer Science & Engineering is designed to provide advanced knowledge in both the theory and application of computing technologies, encouraging students to explore research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
